Millwater Manager: Nadia Davies

"Hello! I’m Nadia, and I’m honoured to be the Centre Manager at Millwater. With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education—from teaching to leadership—I’m passionate about creating environments where children feel valued, inspired, and free to explore. As a mum of three and stepmum to three more, I understand the joys and challenges families face and am committed to building strong, respectful partnerships. 

I’m guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which celebrates each child’s unique potential, and I believe that when educators feel empowered, children truly thrive. I’m excited to lead with warmth, humour, and heart, and to help our centre grow as a joyful, connected learning community."

Introducing our wonderful chef with a heart of gold – Lynda! You’ll often find Lynda in the kitchen, lovingly preparing delicious meals for our tamariki. She also floats through the classrooms, always ready to lend a helping hand and share her warmth with both kaiako (teachers) and children.

Under-Twos Head Teacher: Mandy

"My name is Mandy, and I am an early childhood teacher with 17 year’s experience. I am married and have two grown-up boys, aged 25 and 23. I also have a wonderful 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel, named Ruby. In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball and taking long walks on the beach with my dog. My philosophy centres around child-led learning, play-based education, and creating a warm and inclusive environment where children feel valued and supported.

I believe early childhood is the foundation for lifelong learning, and I am passionate about creating developmentally appropriate experiences that stimulates their curiosity and creativity. I love caring for young children during their early years, and look forward to getting to know you and your children."

Over-Twos Head Teacher: Manzine

"My name is Manzine Guo. I am a mother of two children and have been working in early childhood education (ECE) for about 15 years. Over the years, I have taken on various leadership roles, and my passion remains in preschool teaching, particularly in supporting children’s transition to primary school.

My teaching philosophy is centered on nurturing confident individuals who demonstrate respect and develop strong self-help skills. As a complex head teacher overseeing three over 2’s classrooms, I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment where children can thrive.
